About This Blog

This blog is a permanent work in progress intended to serve as an inventory of the plant species documented on our properties in the Christmas Mountains by me, my sisters Andrea and Julia, and niece Gabrielle. The identifications are to the best of our current knowledge, and subject to change as we learn. As we get better photos, I'll upgrade them. All photos are taken by us in the Christmas Mountains, unless stated otherwise. All nomenclatures are based on Dr. Michael Powell's 2018 "Flowering Plants of Trans-Pecos and adjacent areas."
